My Waxing Experience at The Urbana

Well, I belong to a culture where being hairless (unwanted ones) is considered to be pretty! So, spending time at a salon for Waxing is nothing new to me. Like most of my counterparts, I too like to look pretty and charming and that’s the reason why I couldn’t stop myself from trying a waxing session at Dublin. Urbana is where I waxed my arms, under arms and legs.

When I reached Dublin, the first thing that I noticed was thicker growing all over my hands and arms. I can’t remain like this for long, I said to myself. Further I speculated, finding a wax expert won’t be a problem for a place like Dublin and taking the reference of an old pal, I reached Urbana.

Before reading my Bikini waxing Lycon Wax experience, I would like to make a confession. Waxing is never my cup of tea, though I love my skin after each session. I like the waxy smoothening of the skin afterwards, but I am too sensitive to the pains. It is simply unbearable for me. I am the late one among all my friends.

I arrived at Urbana at 11 pm and I found the salon to be quite crowded. I was told that waxing session is completely booked till 5 pm. What the hell shall I do, in these 6 hours? I thought of going to a different salon, when I remembered my friend (she is the same who referred me this place). I called her and luckily she was on leave. Now I can easily spend the 6 hours at her flat.

Lots and lots of gossiping and chit chats finally culminated at 4.50pm. And suddenly I jumped over the sofa, crying, “What about my appointment?” she drove me to the salon and I reached the salon late by 10 minutes. Still they allowed me into the session.

The entire experience was quite pleasant. My attendant was very friendly. What I liked more is that the attendant was continuously giving me suggestions and ideas for keeping my skin healthy. I liked the interaction within the sessions.

The price charged was very affordable too. In total I had to pay €86. The price is even lower for loyal members.

What I disliked? I couldn’t find anyone at the reception desk during lunch time. They should keep alternate staffs for it. Further, the toilet was a bit unclean. Tissue papers were not there, though they were kept after I informed the attendant about it.

Overall, I liked the salon very much and will definitely visit it once. They have a good reputation for Dublin Bikini Waxing too! Hope to make it soon at Urbana.
